- What is the Superior Court?
The Sonoma County Superior and Municipal Courts were administratively consolidated in January of 1994.
The Judges and Commissioners of the Sonoma County Courts became fully coordinated under one Presiding Judge in January 1997.
The Municipal Court was formally dissolved and one unified Superior Court was created in June of 1998.
As a result, all of the sitting Municipal Court Judicial Officers were sworn in as Superior Court Judicial Officers.
- Where is the Court located?
The Main Courthouse is located in the Sonoma County Center at the Hall of Justice.
There are also three other Court locations where Court operations take place. These are the Civil and Family Law Courthouse, the Empire College Annex and the Juvenile Justice Center.

- What are the office hours?
The Court Clerks offices are open on court business days Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Courtrooms are normally in session 8:00 am to Noon & 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
- What are the phone hours?
The Main Court Phone information line is (707) 521-6500 and information is available from 8:00 am to noon on court business days.
- What are local rules?

- Where can I park?
Parking for the Hall of Justice is available on Administration Drive, Paulin Drive, Ventura Avenue, or in the long term parking lot on Ventura Avenue.
Parking regulations are strictly enforced.
- Is there a coffee shop at the Court?
Yes. The Espresso Cafe is located on the first floor of the Hall of Justice at the Northwest corner of the building.
- Is there an ATM at the Court?
