Collections Division

The Court Collections Division is responsible for the collection of delinquent Traffic and Criminal fines.

Upon delinquency, a Traffic and/or Criminal fine may be referred to the Court’s Collections Division, Franchise Tax Board (outside collection agency) or GC Services (outside collection agency).

Payment Options

If you have an existing Traffic and/or Criminal case that has been referred to Court
Collections and would like to make a payment in full or make a payment on your
payment plan, please use one of the following payment options.

Franchise Tax Board

If you have an existing Traffic and/or Criminal case that has been referred to the Franchise Tax Board, please contact the Franchise Tax Board by phone at 916-845-4064 or visit their website at ftb.ca.gov.

GC Services

If you have an existing Traffic and/or Criminal case that has been referred to the GC Services, please contact GC Services by phone at 833-595-1064 (English) or 800-616-6007 (Español) or by email at CACSS@gcserv.com.

Setting up/Modifying Payment Plan

If you are not making a payment and would like to inquire about setting up a payment plan, modifying your existing payment plan or questions regarding your delinquent fine, please contact the Court’s Collections Unit by phone at 707-521-6659 Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions

Monthly payments may be an option by calling Court Collections and speaking with a collections representative at 707-521-6659.

You may request a determination regarding your ability to pay due to financial hardship in order for the court to consider an alternative sentence such as a payment plan or community service.

You may make your payment by personal check, money order, cashiers check, cash , Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card. Please do not send credit card information or cash through the mail. For overnight hold releases, payments must be made with guaranteed funds (not personal checks).

A Civil Assessment is a late fee that the Court adds to delinquent traffic citations and criminal accounts when individuals fail to pay or appear. Most Civil Assessment late fees are $300.00.

GC Services is an outside collection agency and assists the Court with the collection of delinquent accounts and citations. They are located in Baldwin Park, CA, and their phone number is 800-295-4695.
