The following paragraph refers to Civil Law & Motion:
In order for the research attorney and judge to have adequate time to prep for your L&M matter, please comply with SCR 5.2E by delivering on the date of filing courtesy copies (need not be file-endorsed) to the chambers of the moving papers, reply or opposition.
Dropping a Civil Law & Motion Matter:
If a matter scheduled for the Law and Motion calender settles or is dismissed, the moving party is responsible for notifying the Judicial Assistant in the department to which you are assigned.
Tentative rulings will become the ruling of the Court unless a party desires to be heard. If you desire to appear and present oral argument as to any motion, OR REQUEST A COURT REPORTER, it will be necessary for you to contact the Judicial Assistant in the department to which you are assigned by telephone at by 4:00 PM the day prior to the hearing.
Any party requesting an appearance must notify all other opposing parties of their intent to appear.Parties in small claims cases and motions for claims of exemption are exempt from this requirement.

Civil Settlement Conference

Settlement Conference Statements shall be lodged with the Settlement Conference Coordinators no later than five (5) court days prior to the hearing. Failure to comply may result in monetary sanctions being imposed of not less than $250.00. It is the responsibility of the parties to coordinate delivery of late statements directly to the pro tems.

Tentative rulings will become the ruling of the Court unless a party desires to be heard. If you desire to appear and present oral argument as to any motion, or REQUEST A COURT REPORTER, it will be necessary that you contact the judge's office by telephone at the number indicated below, no later than 4:00 PM on the day before the hearing. Probate
The following paragraph refers to Tentative rulings for Probate.
If the tentative ruling is accepted, no appearance is necessary unless otherwise indicated. If you wish to be heard in response to the tentative ruling, you must call (707) 521-6893 and leave a brief message that includes the case name and number. Any interested party who wishes to be heard in opposition to a petition must also notify all other parties of your intent to appear, or the attorney for all other parties of your intent to appear. Both notifications must be completed no later than 4:00 PM on the court day immediately preceding the day of the hearing.
Unless notification has been given as provided above, the tentative rulings shall become the rulings of the court at 8:45 a.m. on the day of the hearing.
