Change of Name or Gender

If the tentative ruling is accepted, no appearance is necessary unless otherwise indicated.
You must notify the Judicial Assistant at (707) 521-6602 if you wish to be heard in response to the tentative ruling and whether that appearance will be in person or via Zoom. Any interested party who wishes to be heard in opposition to a petition must notify all other parties of the intent to appear. Both notifications must be completed no later than 4:00 p.m. on the court day immediately preceding the day of the hearing.

Unless notification to the Judicial Assistant has been given as provided above, the tentative rulings shall become the rulings of the court at 3:15 p.m. on the day of the hearing.

1.         PETITION OF BRADLEY DEAN HODSON

TENTATIVE RULING: No Appearance is Required. The Court finds that Petitioner Bradley Dean Hodson has complied with all prerequisites outlined under California Code of Civil procedure (“C.C.P.”) §1276 et. seq. for a Petition for Change of Name. The Court finds that no timely objection has been filed against said Petition. Therefore, the Court now GRANTS the Petitioner’s’ Decree Changing Name of “Bradley Dean Hodson” to “Bradley Dean Wilson”.

2.         PETITION OF ELIZABETH AHRENS

TENTATIVE RULING: No Appearance is Required. The Court finds that Petitioner Elizabeth Raine Aherns has complied with all prerequisites outlined under California Code of Civil procedure (“C.C.P.”) §1276 et. seq. for a Petition for Change of Name. Therefore, the Court now GRANTS the Petitioner’s’ Decree Changing Name of “Elizabeth Raine Aherns” to “Elizabeth Raine Cantwell”.

The Court finds that Petitioner Cheri Lavonne Singletary has complied with all prerequisites outlined under California Code of Civil procedure (“C.C.P.”) §1276 et. seq. for a Petition for Change of Name. The Court finds that no timely objection has been filed against said Petition. Therefore, the Court now GRANTS the Petitioner’s’ Decree Changing Name of “Cheri Lavonne Singletary” to “Cheri Lavonne Seeley”.
