The following cases will be DISMISSED by the Court unless a party to the action requests a hearing:
SCV 271127 – Rexroad v. OCHS Labs, LLC, et. al. – The Court has received and reviewed the Declaration of Robert Baskin, of the Law Offices of Robert M. Baskin, former counsel of record for Plaintiff. The Court also notes that Mr. Baskin’s Office was substituted by The Law Offices of David Esquibias (Mr. Christopher A. Fortunati), on 01/23/23. The Court will vacate all monetary sanctions issued against Plaintiff’s counsel at the 08/30/23 CMC hearing. However, the Court has learned that this matter has been settled, therefore the matter will be dismissed with prejudice.
The following cases will be continued to a further OSC or CMC calendar in Courtroom 19 (no appearance is required and notice will be mailed):
SCV 273011 – Lundy v. McPhee – The Court has reviewed the “Response to Order To Show Cause” executed by Megan Koster, Esq. The Court is satisfied with the ‘good cause’ explanation provided for Plaintiff’s failure to attend the 08/10/23 CMC hearing. The Court will now vacate the OSC and place this matter back on its CMC calendar for further monitoring. The next CMC hearing will now be set for 12/07/23 at 3PM. The Parties are required to file timely CMC statements pursuant to CRC 3.725(a). The Court also notes that Plaintiff’s counsel intended to file a Motion to Withdraw as Counsel. If so, that motion must be filed prior to this next CMC date.
The following cases will be set for trial with notice to follow (no appearance is required):
None.
Any cases that do not appear on the list above have been DROPPED from this calendar for various reasons.
SCV 271323 – Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. v. Reinboth – A Request for Dismissal of the entire action was filed by Plaintiff on 03/27/23 and now processed by the Court. Therefore, this OSC will be vacated, and this matter will now be removed from the Court’s docket.
